YOU ARE THE ARTIST IN THE STUDIO OF YOUR LIFE
“Jesus got up and began to follow him, and so did His disciples. And a woman who had been suffering from a hemorrhage for twelve years, came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak; for she was saying to herself, “If I only touch His garment, I will get well.” But Jesus turning and seeing her said, “Daughter, take courage; your faith has made you well.” At once the woman was made well.” Matthew 9:19-22 NASB1995
GOOD DAY: I watched a young artist creating a beautiful piece of art. He first straightened out his canvas on the stretcher bars, sketched what he had in his mind on the canvas and started painting the different sections. By the time he finished, it was so beautiful to behold. Sometimes, a section did not turn out as he wanted and he put another layer of color to correct it.
I saw our lives in that. Every aspect or stage of life is a canvas which each person has to set out and decide what painting he wants on it. Too many people are undecided about what they want and most people don’t know the brush that they use on the canvas of life. Let us see the woman with the issue of blood. She stretched out the canvas of her health. She wanted healing. She took the brush of HER WORD and painted her healing. Jesus said her faith has healed her. Your brush is your word because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Jesus. Romans 10:17. Word creates or generates faith. You need to be impeccable in your word until it gets to your spirit and works out for you. You cannot be going up and down with your words. Let the promise of God that cannot fail be the generator of your faith and watch it perform. As another month is ending, you can start a new painting or correct the one you had painted wrong.
PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus, teach me to speak like you and have Your faith.
